DAY 1: HOCHIMINH – ARRIVAL

Meet on arrival at Ho Chi Minh City / Tan Son Nhat Airport and transfer to hotel for check in.

DAY 2: HOCHIMINH (B/L/-)

Morning, we will take a full day Sai Gon city tour: Visit Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975 and War Remnant Museum – contains countless artifacts, photographs, and pictures documenting American war crimes Such documents illustrate the killing of civilians, speading of chemicals, torturing of prisisoners, and the effects of the war on the north. Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, city tour to visit visit Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office , former US Embassy, City Hall, China Town and the Emperor Jade Pagoda (Phuoc Hai), one of the most interesting pagodas in Vietnam. End of the day we concludes with a stroll through the famous Ben Thanh Market, whose clock tower over the main entrance to what was formerly known as Les Halles Centrale is the symbol of Saigon. Opened first in 1914, it features one-way aisles loaded with people clamoring to sell you cheap goods (T-shirts, aluminum wares, silk, bamboo, and lacquer) and postcards.

DAY 3: HOCHIMINH – TAYNINH – CUCHI TUNNEL (B/L/-)

Morning, an excursion to Tay Ninh.  Tay Ninh is located to the southwest of Vietnam. It shares a border with Cambodia in the west and north. It is surrounded by Ho Chi Minh City, Long An, Binh Phuoc, and Binh Duong. The main ethnic groups are Kinh, Cham, and Khmer.  

Afternoon, continue the journey to Cu Chi Tunnels. Visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels at Cu Chi. There are more than 200 km of underground tunnels, comprising a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels.

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA (VINHLONG) (B/L/-)

Pick up at your hotel and transfer about 136km to Vinhlong, a riverside town located in the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a boat cruise to the Caibe floating market with sellers and buyers bargaining and exchangeing goods from their boats, and then to Hoa Binh Phuoc islet where the maze o shady creeks will surely fascinate you. You will have a change to mighle with local peasants, learn the secrets of their bonsai gardening. Visit local homes where the famillies produce tiles and ceramics; drop into rice-paper kiln and coconut-candy kiln; and observe daily country life. Late afternoon, drive back Hochiminh.

DAY 5: HOCHIMINH – DEPARTURE (B/-/-)

Leisure time until transfer to airport for flight departure.
